As native of Miami, Dr. Rosales graduated with a Bachelor of Biology degree from Florida International University.  After her undergraduate studies, Dr. Rosales went on to receive extensive training in veterinary medicine.  She completed her graduate studies at the University of Florida, where she received a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. After three years in private practice, Dr. Rosales returned to the University of Florida to complete a residency in the specialization of veterinary dermatology.  At the completion of her residency, Dr. Rosales was the recipient of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology (ACVD) Resident Research Award.  Dr. Rosales is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology, a distinction given only to practitioners who have achieved board certification in this specialty. 

Outside of the office, Dr. Rosales has distinguished herself as a leader among her peers through memberships and involvement in various professional organizations.  Currently president-elect of the South Florida Veterinary Medical Association (SFVMA), Dr. Rosales serves on the organization's board of directors, as well as, on its various committees.  Dr. Rosales is a current board member of the South Florida Veterinary Foundation, and member of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) and Florida Veterinary Medical Association (FVMA).  Dr. Rosales has authored several articles on ear infections, mange and ringworm conditions in dogs; and lectured on several veterinary dermatological topics such as Allergic Dermatitis and Otitis Externa.  Of all dermatological conditions, Dr. Rosales holds a strong interest in chronic ear diseases in dogs.                                                                                                                 

In her spare time, Dr. Rosales enjoys running and has participated in several half marathons in South Florida; she also enjoys the arts and relaxing at home with her two dogs, Chiqui and Lola and her cat, Michi.
