Dr. Teresa R. Tucci

Dr. Teresa Tucci grew up in Western Pennsylvania, north of Pittsburgh and her interest in ophthalmology started early as her brother lost vision in an eye early in life.  Her interest lead her through undergraduate studies, the United States Air Force to help pay for the studies, veterinary school and finally an ophthalmology residency at the University of Illinois.  Her specialized training at The Comparative Ophthalmology Service at the University of Illinois included comprehensive eye care for large and small animal patients, as well as exotics.  Dr Tucci is boarded in ophthalmology and is a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Ophthalmology (ACVO).

Dr. Tucci offers a full service ophthalmology department with state of the art diagnostic and surgical equipment for all eye and orbit-related disorders.  Medical and surgical therapies include cataract and diabetic cataract surgery, glaucoma therapy (both medical and surgical), ocular trauma, corneal ulcers, retinal/visual disorders, ocular/orbital neoplasia, ocular prosthetics/implants, and congenital ocular conditions.
